At Daniel Owen, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading FM Company who are in the market for a Maintenance Supervisor for a Hospital in North London.
They are looking for someone who is an independent thinker and a good team leader - ideally with NHS/Hospital experience.
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to look after the Fabric, Water & Contractors side to join our Facilities Management team at a Hospital in North London. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Mon to Fri.
The role:
1. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager
2. To supervise the water management and specialist contractors and internal fabric team
3. To undertake complete management of all PPM's
4. Use of the Maximo CAFM system.
5. To plan work for trade staff/contract labour. Supervise trade staff/contract/labour/contractors to ensure work is completed to a defined standard, within agreed time and budget.
6. Assist Site Management in issuing POs for reactive, remedial, and Life Cycle works and co-ordinating works with Sub-Contractors.
7. Required to undertake training and qualify as AP and/or CP if required.
8. Order materials and services as required within agreed delegation level and certify satisfactory delivery/completion
9. Requirement to work with tools as necessary
10. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in the call-out rota system to assist the Company in responding to emergency situations.
Skills, qualifications & experience:
11. Must hold a recognised Electrical, Mechanical or Fabric trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Electrical, Mechanical or Fabric discipline with suitable industry experience.
12. Will have significant experience in a building services environment
13. Will be a team player ideally with prior supervisory / management experience
14. Will be client-focused with a delivery oriented and 'can-do' approach to work
15. Able to demonstrate knowledge and application of the various trade groups to be managed i.e. building works, mechanical and electrical engineering
16. Good communication and customer service skills
