Job Summary
Come work with us! This is a great opportunity to join our friendly pharmacy team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. The department is progressive, supportive, and provides ample opportunities for growth and development.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary Frail Elderly Assessment Team (FEAT), you will be working alongside other clinicians whilst providing an enhanced clinical pharmacy service and utilising independent prescribing skills to assist the team to ensure high quality, safe, and timely management of patients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive, friendly, and approachable team of dedicated advanced clinical pharmacists. We are a pro-active team; encourage research and personal development, and most recently, the team has submitted, presented, and published an abstract highlighting 'The Impact and Interventions of a Frailty Pharmacist within Emergency Department Frailty Team of an Acute NHS Hospital Trust' at the May 2023 British Geriatric Society Spring Meeting and are finalists in the 2024 HSJ Patient Safety Awards.
We work collaboratively with the FEAT MDT and are a well-respected and established pharmacy team working in the admissions areas. We are also actively involved in training and education of pharmacy and non-pharmacy staff. We aim to provide the best care for our patients and fully support our team members' personal development to achieve this.
We look forward to receiving your applications and meeting you.
