POSITION SUMMARY
The Receptionist for the Healing Arts Department provides a warm and welcoming environment, while creating positive first impressions for guests. She/He also performs administrative tasks and dispensary side work of daily operations.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Must be available for Weekend and Evening Shifts
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Check in guests for services, as well as changing and cancelling appointments.
2. Responsible for opening and closing the department each day according to standard operating procedure.
3. Assist with Linen room maintenance and dispensary duties, ensuring product availability for all services.
4. Respond to therapist's needs for facility and product written requests.
5. Work Side-By-Side with therapists to assure smooth flow of appointments and guest satisfaction.
6. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of each modality and an ability to describe them to guests.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well organized work area.
8. Clearly communicate all necessary information with guests, coworkers, supervisors, and therapists regarding any occurrences involving staff or guests in the department or campus that require attention.
9. Build effective relationships with customers, identify customer expectations, and offer practical solutions to problems.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. 1-3 years customer service or related experience.
2. Associates degree OR equivalent experience including training in Microsoft programs.
3. Basic math and money/POS skills.
4. Ability to work independently while being a team player.
5. Prior experience with ResortSuite software a plus.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Prolonged periods (at least two consecutive hours) of standing/walking around the department.
2. Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
3. Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping.
4. This position requires lifting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
5. Lifting and moving items weighing up to 35 lbs.
