Due to the exciting expansion of the In-Reach into Care Homes service we are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, health care support worker with a desire to provide high quality and timely care under the supervision of a qualified practitioner. Working with older people who live in a care home and have mental health needs, you will be passionate about working with older people and committed to improving their quality of life. Are you ready to make the difference? You will need excellent communication skills preferably with experience of working with people with dementia. You will need to work independently but under the supervision of a senior member of staff supporting the care who reside in care homes and have dementia or other mental health difficulties and may be presenting with distress. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other care providers, have good administration and IT skills, as well as organisational skills and safeguarding knowledge. You MUST be able to drive and have access to a car during working hours.
