The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Paralegal to join our expanding New Build team, which is based at our Norwich office. Working in a collaborative environment, this new position offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with developers, buyers, and investors, and will be pivotal to ensuring that our clients experience a professional and efficient service.
About The Team
The New Build team is a specialist team dedicated to handling new build property transactions. The friendly and highly regarded team have vast experience and knowledge of working with developers and home buyers.
Our team of new build property specialists advise buyers and developers on all aspects of new build property transactions, from managing plot sales to the purchase of a new home.
The Role
This role will see the successful candidate undertaking the following tasks:
1. Handling of a small caseload of new build property transactions.
2. Liaising with clients, developers, and other stakeholders, and building strong rapport, to ensure a seamless transaction process.
3. Providing support to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
4. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and financial requirements.
5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each transaction.
6. Contributing to a positive and supportive team dynamic.
7. Participating in business development opportunities and networking events to promote firm services.
8. Providing general Paralegal and Administrative support to the team as required.
The Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who:
1. Has previous experience working as a Paralegal, with a fee earning target.
2. Has previous experience working on New Build purchase and sales matters.
3. Ideally holds relevant legal qualifications, or is currently working towards these.
4. Has a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
5. Is commercially astute.
6. Has working knowledge of Conveyancing practice and procedures.
7. Is organised, process driven, IT literate, and has great communication skills, and has experience using a case management system.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks and have a good attention to detail. They should be a team-player who can quickly gain the trust of their team and clients as well as our professional colleagues in this demanding area of legal work.
