Job title: Senior Project Manager Job Type: Permanent Staff Start date: As soon as possible subject to clearance Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE Benefits Package: 25 Days Holidays 8 Bank Holidays, Private Healthcare Bonus of up to 5%, Pension 8% Employer Contribution, £4800 Car Allowance Location: Southampton, Hampshire Hours of work: 37 hours per week Role & Responsibilities: Manage suppliers and sub-contractors for manufacturing, fabrication and specialist services. Manage procurement of bought-out items. Produce accurate and correct project documentation in line with the contract requirements. Manage all project functions including design, engineering, procurement, sub-contracted manufacture, build, testing and installation. Identify opportunities for further work through discussions with the client. Manage change in scope and ensure appropriate compensation is received. Produce resourced programmes and work plans to accomplish the project. Manage engineering, design, and turnkey projects. Carry out successful administration and management of all allocated contracts. Monitor and control projects to ensure they are delivered to budget and programme. Accurately and autonomously complete internal and client project reporting. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with clients thereby ensuring their expectations are understood and met. Plan and manage allocated resource through the project phases. Provide accurate project forecast reports and plans in accordance with company processes and procedures. Assess, direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Responsible for overall quality and management of projects and programmes. Manage budget and ensure financial accountability on nominated projects and those of their reports. Support Head of Projects and other business needs as required. Line management of other team members, including one to ones and appraisals. Any other job duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post. Understanding of GDPR/data protection legislation procedures and requirements in a highly regulated environment. Qualifications/Experience Required: Degree or HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline Hold a formal project management qualification such as - APM or Prince 2 Experience of working within the Nuclear Sector - Essential 5 Years Experience of working within a Senior Project role.
