Breakfast Club Teaching Assistant
Location: Accrington
Hours: 7am – 8.45am – Term Time Only
Salary: £13.72 per hour
Are you passionate about working with children and creating a positive start to their school day? We are looking for a Breakfast Club Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team!
About the Role:
As a Breakfast Club Teaching Assistant, you will help create a warm and welcoming environment where children can enjoy a healthy breakfast, engage in fun activities, and prepare for their school day. You will supervise and support pupils, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervising and engaging with children during breakfast time
2. Encouraging positive social interactions and good table manners
3. Leading fun and stimulating activities before school starts
4. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the club
5. Supporting a smooth transition from breakfast club to the classroom
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting preferred)
2. A friendly, caring, and patient approach
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
4. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
5. First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain)
