Holy Family Catholic Academy is seeking to appoint a dynamic Phase Leader and Class Teacher, who possesses the vision and dedication required to further enhance the leadership of our vibrant inclusive school.
We are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner and inspirational leader who will become an integral part of the team at Holy Family Catholic Academy. The successful candidate will be able to articulate the vision for the Trust and academy and empower others to share the same in achieving it.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our continuing growth and development working alongside the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to be a part of leading our successful school, building on existing strengths and achievements and delivering high quality outcomes for all our pupils.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who will help raise attainment for all learners including those who have SEND or are disadvantaged. Someone who has the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and can engage with our committed staff, enthusiastic children and supportive parents, who will promote the school in the community, and embody our Mission, ‘We love Jesus and each other, live life to the full and learn with joy and spirit.’
We are a one-form entry school which caters for children between the ages of two and eleven situated in Wigan. We are proud to have happy children with a positive attitude to their learning, a friendly, hardworking and professional team of staff, together with engaged and supportive parents. * demonstrates ambition and relentless drive to ensure measurable improvement within Early Years;
* demonstrates up to date research-based initiatives
* has willingness to complete an NPQ
* can lead professional, challenging conversations that feedback effective practice and constructive criticism to support and hold people to account
* will present data analysis and evidence for monitoring during SLT meetings, staff meetings and Governors’ meetings
* will liaise with our School Business Manager to ensure effective organisation of admissions and funding

This role will initially be in our Early Years but applicants need to be aware that this may be subject to change. Applicants must also outline any interests and experience that they may have in subject leadership.
