They are looking for a Business Continuity Specialist to join the team in Liverpool on a 6-month paternity cover contract starting January 2025. You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, some flexibility will be required, office based 3 days a week, 2 days working from home. Daily Tasks include but are not limited to: Oversight of Business Continuity (BC) Programme and Incident Manager. Act as liaison between Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) and EMEA Resiliency Leads and Administrators. Represent the team in ERO planning and preparedness meetings, weekly. Ensure the team complies with all stages of the BC Lifecycle as defined by the ERO. Assis with completion of Business Impact Analysis in Fusion BC system. Advise on selection of Recovery Strategies. Aid in production of written procedures to support recover strategies. Maintain dependency mapping including staff, applications and third party vendors in Fusion and Connection systems. Maintain compliance with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) including mapping of new staff, completion of BC lifecycle monthly deliverables. Incident Management – Finalise business impact details post incident, to be recorded in the appropriate forms. Hosting of virtual organisation EMEA BC forum, monthly – including production of slides, presenting new information, metrics and ERO guidance. Skills and Expertise Experience in incident management – ability to gather information, prioritise efforts and communicate impacts. Strong and confident communicator – ability to communicate up to senior management level. Stakeholder management. Project management and organisation skills. A background in the use of PowerPoint and presenting to stakeholders. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience in business continuity preferred, not essential.
