Role Overview
This role, based in Shrewsbury with travel across the UK, offers the chance to work on a varied and stimulating portfolio of infrastructure projects. You will lead the engineering input for schemes related to site levels, highways, sewers, SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems), and flood risk management, taking projects from feasibility through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects in the development sector.
Carry out feasibility assessments, design drainage systems (SuDS and foul water), and manage flood risk infrastructure.
Design roadways, junctions, and provide detailed technical input for construction.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and guidance.
Manage client relationships and support marketing efforts to grow the engineering service.
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and consultants to deliver projects effectively. Person Specification
Enthusiastic and client-focused, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
A solid understanding of civil engineering design, particularly in the UK.
Ideally, you will hold or be working towards an HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering, with professional qualifications (EngTech, IEng, or CEng) or a commitment to pursuing them.
Experience in drainage design, road design, flood risk assessments, and technical approvals (S38, S278) is desirable.
Proficient with relevant software tools (AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage).
Previous UK design experience and a full driving licence are required. Working Hours & Benefits
