PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR

About the Role:
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Worcester is looking for an PHP Coordinator to join our team! Our Partial Hospitalization Programs are group-based and short-term for individuals requiring a higher level of care. Our teams work to promote a group that is therapeutic, safe, and supportive. The Coordinator, Partial Hospitalization (PHP) assists in the overall quality and fiscal management of the PHP program. The Coordinator, in collaboration with or in the absence of the Assistant/Director PHP, assures that clinical services are in full compliance with applicable regulations and payer contract specifications. The Coordinator delivers direct services to clients, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and performs administrative duties required in program management.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and conduct intakes
* Assess client’s or family’s needs and eligibility for services through Intake Assessments and ongoing assessments throughout the course of treatment at the program
* Lead and co-lead group therapy in accordance with assigned client needs
* Participate in planning treatment programs, dispositional and discharge plans
* Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
* Maintain a case-load in accordance with needs of the program
* Maintain required charting and documentation in a timely and thorough manner
* Perform de-escalation interventions
* Adhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standards
* Accept supervision and attend regularly scheduled team or supervision meetings
* Oversee transportation coordination – site specific
* Oversee supply orders for program – site specific
* Oversee food service for program – site specific
* Mentor to Graduate Level Interns
* Provide supervision to Graduate Level Interns – if able to based on qualification and as determined by Director.
* Participate in chart audit process
* Require minimal supervision regarding use of time and ability to prioritize work assignments
* Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families
* Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations or with unpredictable or violent clients
* Ability to make accurate assessments and provide appropriate treatment
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources.
* Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Ability to manage the program in the director’s absence.
* Provide supervision to Graduate-Level Interns or mentorship if not qualified to provide supervision or it has been decided by Director that program coordinator will not provide supervision to interns.

Qualifications:
* Masters Degree in Social Work, Nursing or related Program, or PhD. in Psychology from an accredited college or University
* Current State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist or RN preferred (At minimum working towards licensure)
* Two to three years of psych experience preferably in a community health setting
* Previous experience with population (children, adolescents, or adults) in a community health setting
