Job summary Since 2009 our service has provided NHS Talking Therapies for North East Lincolnshire. The service provides low and high intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, couples psychotherapy, Counselling for Depression and Interpersonal Therapy. The clinical team consists of High Intensity Therapists, Counsellors, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Interpersonal Therapists and Employment Advisors. We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated individual who would like to train to become a High Intensity Therapist. High Intensity Therapists are trained to deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to people with mental health problems at step three of the Stepped Care model. The post initially involves studying for a postgraduate diploma within one year whilst also working as a trainee within the service. The team consists of experienced staff who have been specifically trained to provide supervision. Main duties of the job Interviews will be conducted by NHS Talking Therapies' clinical lead, Team Manager, a service user representative and a member of the teaching team from Hull University. The 12-month course commences March 2024 with two weeks prior induction with the service. The training consists of 2 days university attendance and 3 days working with the service each week. The closing date for this post is 14.11.2024 and interviews will take place shortly after closing date. NHS Talking Therapies provides both remote therapy and treatment in person, with clinicians working a proportion of their time from the office/home. The starting salary is band 6 and increases to Band 7 with successful completion of the course and application for accreditation with the BABCP.
