Job Description Job Title: Finance Analyst Working Pattern: Full Time Working location: Bristol Why Rolls-Royce ? This role will sit within the UK &I Future Programmes, Business Development and Early Life Cycle Finance team. This finance team supports the wider UK&I FP & BD & ELC organisation. This role will provide support to the Senior Finance Manager UKI BD&FP &ELC, and programme team. The Finance team are responsible for the integrity of the accounts and ensuring that costs on Government contracts comply with the relevant costing and recovery processes. This role will be focused on supporting the finance team on data accuracy and data analysis to ensure compliance with cost recovery mechanisms, and using the data to identify opportunities to maximise cost recovery with rates and recharging processes. What You Will Be Doing Supporting underlying finance and business processes within Defence and ELC & BD&FP Ensuring contracts are set up is in line with the expected contract position, and that costs and trading reflect the intent of the contract. Raise awareness within the business teams on allowable contract costs, ensuring all costs that should be recovered by contracts and are allowable, are identified and recovered – e.g. Foreign exchange. Define the process for forecasting costs by operating cost category by contract and subsequent financial variance reporting to understand the key business drivers. Programme manage the forecasting timetable and plan, including review packs, assumptions and risks & opportunities to support underlying forecast.
