Job Description: Safety Engineer
Location: Remote Working (Near Bristol would be ideal but not essential)
Salary: 50,000 to 60,000 + Company Benefits Package.

Key Responsibilities
1. Safety Case Development: Production and maintenance of comprehensive Safety Case Reports and Safety Management Plans, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
2. Hazard Management: Lead and manage Hazard Logs, ensuring accurate identification, tracking, and resolution of hazards throughout project lifecycles.
3. Systems Engineering Integration: Apply a sound appreciation of Systems Engineering principles to support the development of robust safety solutions.
4. Hazard Identification & Analysis: Conduct thorough Hazard Identification (HAZID) and Hazard Analysis (HAZAN) activities to mitigate risks effectively.
5. Fault Tree Analysis: Perform Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) using tools such as Isograph Reliability Workbench to identify and quantify system vulnerabilities.
6. Process Adherence: Ensure projects align with the Acquisition Safety and Environmental Management System (ASEMS) process, maintaining best practices in safety and risk management.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored safety solutions in Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace, and Rail sectors.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Proven expertise in the production and maintenance of Safety Case Reports and Safety Management Plans.
2. Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and their application in safety-critical projects.
3. Hands-on experience in managing Hazard Logs.
4. Demonstrated ability to work on complex environments such as Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace, or Rail.
5. Familiarity with ASEMS processes and standards.
6. Proficiency in Hazard Identification, Hazard Analysis, and Fault Tree Analysis techniques.
7. Experience with tools like Isograph Reliability Workbench is highly desirable.
