Safer Neighbourhood Officer required to work in Linenhall Street, Belfast. Initially this role is for 3 months on a temporary basis with the possibility of an extension based on performance. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am until 3.30pm and Friday 7.30am until 3pm with an hourly rate of £16.65. The main duties will include patrolling various locations to identity anti-social behaviour such as on-street drinking, littering and graffiti, working in conjunction with local representatives to identify solutions to community safety problems, occasionally attending meetings, inputting incidents and response data onto relevant software systems and delivering allocated community safety interventions such as environmental clean-ups, youth diversionary programmes and health improvement projects.
