Job Description
Are you experienced in supporting students with visual and/or hearing impairments? Protocol Education is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Sensory Support Specialist.
The Role
* You will work alongside children diagnosed with visual, hearing, or multi-sensory impairments.
* Collaborate with a range of professionals and agencies.
* Produce specialist resources for children with sensory impairments and other SEND.
* Ideally, hold qualifications in Braille or British Sign Language (Level 2).
Requirements
* DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one.
* Support children in learning Braille, Touch Typing, and using assistive technology.
* Set up VI/HI equipment.
* Qualification in Braille or British Sign Language - Level 2 or above.
* Ability to work full-time (Monday to Friday) or part-time across 5 days.

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanent placement later.
