Our client is a leading regional law firm and is looking to appoint a Paralegal to join their Employment and Corporate, Commercial, Banking Team.
Some of your duties will include:
1. Drafting documents and letters of advice to clients under supervision
2. Drafting and completing basic legal documents and forms with limited supervision
3. Researching legal issues on behalf of other fee earners
4. Preparing document bundles for fee earners as required
5. Taking responsibility for administrative tasks, i.e. coordinating the administration of seminars
6. Taking messages about initial advice queries and passing them on to the relevant fee earner
7. The efficient management of client/matter files to include general filing, file opening, preparation of client care letters and terms and conditions, file closure and archiving
8. Undertaking any other duties as required
9. Liaising with clients via telephone and email
10. Attending client meetings both in person and on the telephone, as requested by the fee earner
11. Attending meetings and taking notes as required
12. Liaising with clients and Counsel Clerks regarding case management and billing
Requirements:
1. Proficient with Microsoft Office
2. Be results focused and driven to deliver
3. A good eye for detail
4. Good organisation and time management abilities
5. Excellent team player
6. Motivated with a strong commitment to learning
7. Prior paralegal experience would be advantageous
