Nursery Room Leader
We are now recruiting EYFS Nursery Practitioners for some exciting opportunities in our Burnley Nurseries.
Our nurseries pride themselves on building relationships, gaining trust, and making a difference in children’s learning and development.
The successful candidate will be working as a Nursery Assistant, supporting their children through a nurturing approach.
* Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (hours may vary)
* Pay: £12.90 - £13.50
* Location: Burnley Nursery
Your Responsibilities:
1. Provide education in a safe, fun, and stimulating environment.
2. Be responsible for carrying out observations to identify gaps in children’s development.
3. Prioritise the well-being and development of your key children.
4. As a Key Worker, carry out engaging activities to meet the needs of your children.
5. Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent.
6. Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers, and staff, demonstrating clear communication.
7. Promote high standards of quality within the nursery learning environment.
Your Requirements:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to work collaboratively with supporting staff, other professionals, and parents.
3. Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
4. Passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
5. Relevant experience working with children in a childcare setting.
6. Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS Qualification or equivalent.
7. Enhanced DBS Check.
