Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking for a long-term or permanent position?
Supply Desk are working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ mixed secondary school in Sittingbourne, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students across KS3-5, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across KS3-5, inspiring a love of literature and language.
2. Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement.
3. Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
5. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure excellent academic outcomes.
6. Collaborate with staff members and participate in school events to enhance the student experience.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with proven experience teaching English at KS3-5.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
3. A passion for teaching English and inspiring students of all abilities to achieve their best.
4. Commitment to professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
5. Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
