About the Role:
As the Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in leading a skilled team, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. You’ll oversee clinical practice, staff development, and regulatory compliance, creating a nurturing, person-centered environment. You will also step in for the Home Manager when required, ensuring the smooth running of the home.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
✅ Experience in a leadership or senior clinical role within a nursing home
✅ Strong understanding of dementia, mental health, and palliative care
✅ Knowledge of CQC regulations and a passion for delivering high-quality care
✅ Experience in care planning, audits, and compliance
✅ (Desirable) Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead and support a team of nurses and carers to deliver outstanding clinical care
🔹 Assess residents' needs and promote their overall well-being
🔹 Develop, implement, and audit person-centered care plans
🔹 Ensure compliance with CQC and internal policies
🔹 Foster a positive team culture, mentoring and supervising staff
🔹 Take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
