ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL ENGINEER - ROCHDALE AREA

Our client started out 40 years ago and has grown to be the European market leader in their field. They are looking for Electrical Service Engineers to join their team to service and maintain three-phase electrical industrial material handling equipment for their own customers: commercial, industrial, public sector, and blue-chip customers as well as their own large hire fleet.
The role will be based out of the Heywood depot and would suit someone with a background in industrial motors and associated switchgear, but other roles would be considered, including mechanical roles who wish to upskill. It will also include travel to sites across the UK.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
Salary: £35k Basic plus overtime at 1.5 times
1 week working away in every 5, with 4 nights all accommodation and travel covered, paid at £25 NET for every night away.
Workshop based with occasional day-based travel, being back home that day.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Servicing systems utilizing your knowledge of systems and equipment.
2. Deliver a high-class customer experience by providing a high standard of customer service, including problem-solving whilst building customer relationships.
3. Preparation of service work utilizing organizational skills.
4. Correctly complete Engineer work reports and handover certificates.
5. Travel to sites across the UK.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Be reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated with the ability to work alone as well as in a team.
2. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
3. Work closely with the planning team, ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritized correctly.
4. Hold a full UK driving License.
5. Genuine interest in Engineering, experienced or with qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
6. Experience in servicing and/or installation of industrial machinery is required.
