As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for building on the success of Toca.io, targeting a predefined set of accounts and partners to generate qualified opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an exciting UK based Tech company in the low code platform space; a market highlighted to be worth over $140 Billion over the next 5 years.
The Toca low code development platform is already used in a number of NHS trusts, legal & law firms, consumer research & financial services; your role will be to help build on this, working with and assisting the sales team during prospect engagements, including reaching out to target accounts via phone, email, social media, events; responding to inbound enquiries, using frameworks geared towards successful conversions, market research and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research into targeted accounts and territories to gather insights, key contacts and other useful information prior to prospecting.
* Engage and build the sales funnel by generating leads via personalised outreach to potential customers.
* Collaborate with our Marketing Team on relevant campaign content.
* Nurture relationships with prospects to help progress opportunities.
* Qualify inbound leads generated by our marketing team.
* Deliver a superior customer experience as you engage with prospects.
* Keep track of your prospecting efforts on our CRM (PipeDrive).
* Achieve or exceed your individual targets on a monthly basis.
* Share best practices with your colleagues and be open to learning from others.
* Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends.
This role might be for you if you have strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and interact in an engaging way, with a desire for a long-term career in a commercial role, are goal oriented and achieving, and are able to think independently.
Must have experience:
* Ideally minimum of 1 years experience working in an internal sales / customer facing role, or a graduate looking to start your career in sales.
* Confident creating & holding conversations with C-level stakeholders.
* Ability to understand and learn to successfully promote a technical offering and solution.
* Capacity to learn systems and processes quickly.
* Able to work independently to set targets.
* Resilient and coachable.
* Candidates should be results-driven, tenacious, and a strong team player.
Beneficial experience:
* Degree level education.
* Previous experience in lead generation, sales development, inside sales or recruitment.
* An understanding of automation and AI fundamentals and how they work in principle or keen interest in tech; would be preferred but not essential.
