CNC Miller/Turner My client based in Thame is looking for a skilled CNC Miller/Turner to join their team. The company specialise in one off bespoke parts using a wide variety of materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision engineering, with experience in machining high quality components. Key responsibilities Operate, set and program CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision engineered components. Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD Models. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feed for different materials and machining process. Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any mechanical issues Work efficiently to meet production targets whilst maintaining high accuracy Adhere to health and safety procedures collaborate with engineers to improve processes and product quality. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a CNC Miller/Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in CNC programming. Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tool selection. Experience working with different materials such as steel, aluminium and plastics Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a small team 40 hours a week (can be flexible) £15 -£20 per hour DOE Overtime paid at time and a third 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
