An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT Delivery Team as a Data Delivery Lead. The IT Delivery team play a key role in helping Covéa Insurance to achieve their overall business strategy and plan. IT Delivery are responsible for understanding, developing, and testing to: Deliver all the change needed to support our business areas to achieve their business plans (Run the Business Change) Deliver strategic projects to enable long term business strategy for Covéa Insurance IT Delivery has a functional organisation aligned with business areas and technical platforms (Personal, Commercial and Speciality Lines, - together with Regulatory Projects & Data plus a PMO function), bringing all roles together to ensure efficient and focussed delivery activity generating greater business impact. What will I be doing? The role is accountable for end-to-end change delivery up to project level (total scope, total cost, and total benefit). Where required, support the delivery of programmes. Drive the delivery of end-to-end projects within your Delivery Centre: Proactively identify solutions to meet agreed business requirements within timescale, cost, quality constraints and achievement of milestones. Follow Covéa’s delivery and development methodologies, governance and change framework. Plan your own workload and priorities day to day – proactively managing the benefits, deliverables, deadlines, blockers, resource challenges, readiness and acceptance and budgets. Identify and mitigate dependencies across your project(s), escalating any issues to roadmap owners for guidance, with support from Delivery Centre Manager / Delivery Manager as required. Identify and proactively manage key stakeholders up to Director level to ensure the delivery of projects are meeting the needs of the business. Identify and proactively manage risks and issues with stakeholders up to Director level, being able to articulate the business risk of change not delivering to plan. Work with the IT Principals and the Leads across all Delivery Centres to embed, develop, support, and continuously improve best practice. Own your project change reporting and metrics, adhering to the information flow framework and making sure updates are timely and concise. Responsible for team workload management including allocation of work, balancing of workloads and escalation of imbalances. We’re looking for someone with… Application of project change management methodologies, demonstrating successful delivery. Previous experience of working in a team in a regulated environment. Strong insurance and business knowledge. Proven experience of line management responsibilities, including undertaking coaching and mentoring of a team. Proficient in project management tools e.g., Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel. Understanding of commercial and financial management, budget control and cost optimisation. Proactive in planning to achieve targets and objectives which deliver outcomes, both at a personal, project and team level. Drives change – anticipates challenges and blockers, being proactive in identifying solutions to maintain momentum and achievement of milestones. Ability to work independently and pragmatically under pressures of time and scope. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills across all levels. Proactively engage and influence your stakeholders, being respectful of their needs, knowledge, and interest. Strong problem-solving ability, using pragmatic judgement to balance risk and business value to reach decisions which are well informed and actionable.
