Teacher of Science - Maternity Cover - St Gregory's Catholic High School
The role
St. Gregory’s Catholic High School is offering a fantastic opportunity for a full-time teacher of Science to join our successful and thriving school community for the duration of a maternity cover.
This role is to teach Biology as a main subject specialism. While the cover is for maternity leave, it can also potentially pave the way for a permanent position should future vacancies in the department arise.
St Gregory’s is very proud to have been named ‘the happiest secondary school in Warrington’ following research from the Warrington Guardian on Ofsted feedback. Our Science team is an experienced and inclusive group of people to work with, and you will be well supported in your career development to progress. You will have the opportunity to take part in bespoke research that will enhance your professional development and contributions to school life.
In July 2024, Ofsted’s inspection report graded the school once again as ‘Good’ in every area, and the school is graded as ‘Outstanding’ in our Section 48 Inspection of the Catholic Life provision of the school. We encourage all applicants to read both reports and to review our school website.
If you want to work in one of the best schools in the North West where pupils have a thirst for learning, this is the opportunity to grow and be happy and successful in your career.
