To provide expert clinical support and advise, alongside the Surgical OT Clinical Specialist, to the Orthopaedic/surgical OT team, linking closely with Physio and other professions. To hold a clinical caseload, providing excellent, high-quality person-centred clinical management, including patients who have complex acute and chronic presentations, determining the functional deficits and OT treatment within the busy orthopaedic ward settings, covering surgical patients when required and supporting on other teams when appropriate. To strive to provide a service fit for today and the future, considering and inputting into the latest evidence-based practice, developing personal leadership to support clinical and service growth and staff development.
