Rotations are available in the following clinical areas:
1. Trauma and elective Orthopaedics
2. General Surgical and Amputee Team
3. Stroke and Neuro Therapy Team
4. Front Door Team - ED
5. Care of the Elderly Team
6. Intermediate Care
7. Medical Team
8. Cardio Respiratory Team
The Therapy department is committed to providing an environment of excellent professional growth. We hold daily team huddles and regular departmental meetings, ensuring effective communication within the teams. We have dedicated CDP time, regular performance reviews, and service development projects across the bands. Supervision is highly regarded within the department as a method of ensuring all staff are supported in their professional development and career progression. Furthermore, the department has a structured in-service training programme alongside monthly Band 5 peer support meetings.
Our department operates an integrated therapy service, where Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists work alongside each other in each of the clinical areas.
