The Role:
You will be responsible for driving compliance and managing the Environmental Management Systems, including assisting with training and providing environmental advice to the workforce. Typical duties will include:
1. Undertaking internal audits and inspections as part of the environmental inspection programme.
2. Supporting the site and project teams with identifying and implementing solutions to inspection findings.
3. Maintaining regular reporting & compliance requirements.
4. Assisting and supporting sites in maintaining environmental plans.
The Experience Required:
1. At least 2 years of environmental advisory/management experience.
2. Ideally, a membership of a relevant professional body.
3. Academically qualified to HNC / HND or higher in a relevant discipline, such as environmental management, construction, or civil engineering.
4. In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and other requirements relevant to construction.
5. Knowledge of environmental requirements within a construction environment.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate to all levels.
7. Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
8. Good standards of literacy & high attention to detail.
9. Flexible & willing to adapt to challenges.
Salary & Package on Offer:
£40,000 - £45,000 base salary, car allowance, excellent employer pension contribution up to 7%, private healthcare, 26 days holiday + bank holidays and additional holiday purchase scheme, and other additional company benefits & perks.
