The Role:
As an HGV Mechanic/Plant Fitter, you'll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of HGV vehicles, other company vehicles, and various plant and machinery. You'll play a key role in ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, company vehicles, and plant machinery.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults within the fleet.
* Ensure vehicle inspections and maintenance meet required standards and deadlines.
* Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance work completed.
What We're Looking For:
1. HGV Licence (essential).
2. Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
3. Experience with vehicle inspection standards and scheduled maintenance requirements.
