We are looking to hire an Associate Solutions Engineer for our Dundee office who can provide customers and sales staff with technical product advice during pre-sales discussions. You will perform detailed, online technical deep-dive demonstrations, promoting product features, answering audience questions, and clearly ascertaining the prospect’s needs and requirements.
You will assist in developing business value propositions around N-able's products and solutions and contributes to accelerating their usage and consumption.
What You'll Do
4. Perform basic installation and configuration of network management products, system and application monitoring products, and security-related products
5. Assist sales reps in offering guidance on product identification
6. Provide prospects with basic troubleshooting and other online remote assistance during the product evaluation cycle
7. Perform basic troubleshooting techniques on all N-able products
8. Identify product-specific areas for improvement to enhance the evaluation experience and conduct online technical demonstrations remotely
9. Escalate product issues, customer feedback, and feature/functionality requests
10. Utilize online tool to provide pre-sales technical support during the sales process
What You'll Bring
11. Basic knowledge of network or application monitoring solutions
12. Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques
13. Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
14. A good mix of technical ability and customer interaction skills are preferred Ability to keep pace in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
15. Strong client management skills
16. Solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; basic presentation skills
17. Ability to absorb and retain technical knowledge quickly
18. Ideally some experience as a field/networking technician or system administrator in a customer-facing role; prior experience working for or with an MSP desired
