SEN Teaching Assistant (KS1) - Dover
Are you a compassionate and patient Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with complex needs on a reduced timetable (afternoons ONLY initially!), with the potential for hours to increase over time.
About the Role:
Location: Dover
Key Stage: KS1 (Year 1)
Support Needs: Child has experienced significant loss, leading to attachment difficulties.
Schedule: Afternoons initially, with a focus on 1:1 support.
Teamwork Approach: The school is looking for several staff members to support the child, reducing the impact of transitions and loss.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those with attachment challenges.
A nurturing, patient, and consistent presence in the classroom.
Ability to integrate into the class and provide 1:1 support.
