Do you enjoy working with numbers and people?
As a Governance Pension Administrator, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge within our friendly Governance team while supporting our service delivery to clients and working closely with the Pensions Administration team. The Governance team bridges the Pensions Administration teams and Insured clients—large insurance companies outsourcing their Defined Contribution Pension Portfolios to Aptia. This collaboration involves ensuring oversight and compliance through detailed reporting, client meetings, and issue resolution, as well as supporting client audits and due diligence. Together, these efforts help deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards for our clients and their underlying schemes.
This role can only work as a hybrid position between your home address and our Aptia office in Exeter.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Perform a range of administrative tasks, including producing client reports and processing Management Information (MI).
2. Communicate with clients on non-complex queries through Teams, letters, emails, and phone calls when required.
3. Adhere to specified deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work quality.
4. Collaborate within a team environment to continuously enhance processes and service delivery to clients.
5. Previous administrative experience is desirable, and some knowledge of pensions would be advantageous, though not essential.
What We’re Looking For:
1. GCSE-level education, including Mathematics and English Language at Grade C or above.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Proficient in IT, with experience using systems and programs such as MS Office.
4. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
5. A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
6. Capable of understanding and adhering to established processes.
7. Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward learning and self-improvement.
