We're searching for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Cheadle. This is an ideal opportunity for someonewho is currently studying or looking to increase their knowledge within L & D and grow their career with us. Y ou'll support the Learning & Development team with coordinating training events and training suppliers.
Our Head Office is based in Cheadle (near Stockport), we do offer hybrid working but you will be required to travel to Cheadle regularly.
In this role you will be:
Scheduling training events across the UK with internal and external trainers
Coordinating the delivery of our Corporate Induction
Managing the enquires that come through to the L&D email inbox
Processing purchase orders and supporting the monitoring of the training budget
Working with colleagues at our sites across the UK to maintain the training skills matrix
Producing reporting and analysis of training activities
Providing technical support to users on our L&D platform (Cornerstone)
Helping to define and maintain L&D processes and best practice
Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE)
I deally Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ( job-share) between 9am and 5pm, although we are open to discussing your requirements.
About You
You will have experience in
Administrative Support: Pr oviding administrative support, such as scheduling, data entry and record-keeping
Event Planning: O rgani s ing and coordinating training events
Data Analysis: T rack ing training metrics and generat ing reports for monthly submission .
Customer Service: Answering learning queries and providing stakeholder and learner communications
HR or L&D: Basic understanding of HR functions and L&D processes
You will also have
Organi s ational and Planning Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioriti s e effectively, and meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with various stakeholders and learners .
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in administrative tasks and data management.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Time Management: Effective use of time to balance various responsibilities.
Proficiency in Technology: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant office software like Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Interviewswill be held the beginning of October.
About our Benefits
Full time equivalent (35 hours) salary up to £28,000 (depending on experience), pro-rated for part time hours.
