The post holders will join the current Clinical Nurse Specialist in Epilepsy, eventually sharing the same duties and responsibilities, and the 2 consultant Neurologists with an interest in epilepsy to make up the epilepsy service. Main duties of the job It is an opportunity for an enthusiastic candidates who would like to enhance their knowledge in caring for patients with epilepsy. Ideally this candidates should be experienced in caring for patients with neurological disorders, and epilepsy. The post would provide an opportunity to learn about how the nurse specialist supports patients with epilepsy in the community and acute setting. The candidates need to be able to independently priorities workload, and respond to patients within a timely fashion. They will gain experience of working within a very busy neurology team who are passionate and innovative about improving services for patients with epilepsy. The candidates will be supported by the existing members of the epilepsy team and the divisional senior nursing team. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
