Reed Accountancy are seeking a dedicated Accounts Admin for a 12-week temporary assignment with a reputable engineering company. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13 - £14, depending on experience and an early finish on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase Ledger: Managing stock purchases, allocating deliveries, controlling stock, and inputting purchase invoices.
* Sales Ledger: Creating works orders, sales orders, and delivery notes.
* Database Maintenance: Keeping an accurate record of completed jobs.
* Email Management: Using Microsoft Outlook for communication.
* General Administration: Performing various administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in Sage Line 50 Accounts - essential for role.
* Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
* A professional, confident, friendly, and helpful telephone manner.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small, friendly team, in a relaxed and amicable office environment. This role is to cover the sickness of the Office Manager, so prior experience is essential. The working hours are Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm, and Friday, 7:30am – 1:30pm.
