Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee one of our residential houses. Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will manage a team of Support Workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care that is safe, effective, compassionate, responsive, and well-led. Key Responsibilities: Administer and supervise medication rounds. Manage daily operational requirements, including rotas. Complete and review Care Plans, risk assessments, and set goals with key team members. Actively participate in Multi-Disciplinary Teams, liaising with staff, professionals, families, and other stakeholders. Take part in annual reviews and other assessments, including writing and presenting reports. Oversee line management responsibilities, including performance management, supervisions, and appraisals. Essential Skills and Experience: Significant experience in providing person centred care. Knowledge of CQC and Fundamental Standards. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient IT skills. Excellent planning and organizational abilities. Experience in people management. Results-oriented mindset. Proactive and Positive approach Up-to-date knowledge of developments in the care sector. Desirable: A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a willingness to pursue it. Salary Enhancements: Weekend work paid at 1.3 times the basic rate. Up to 3 times the basic rate for Bank Holidays. Opportunities for regular overtime.
