My client is actively looking for someone to step into the Contracts Manager role and make it their own, using their experience and independence to run the sites. It will be a site-based role so a successful candidate will be expected to travel to the site regularly to carry out regular maintenance checks. They will be responsible for the overall project management while maintaining standards of health, safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control. The candidate will be working closely with the Commercial Department, Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and other members of the management team, to ensure the whole process on-site runs as smoothly as possible.
REQUIREMENTS
As a Contracts Manager, you will be hands-on and responsible for delivering multiple contracts from £50k to £2m in value, with a project portfolio valuing £10M per annum. You will require a few years of managerial experience, running a team within civil projects. You will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar and have proven experience working within the highways sector. You must be around the East Anglia region, as they have sites based in Essex, East Anglia, Cambridgeshire, and Bedfordshire and you will be required to regularly go on site.

You will receive a salary of £65,000-£75,000 depending on your level of experience as well as a car allowance, annual leave and a full package. This role is also offering an element of hybrid working for the Contracts Manager. When not based on-site, any general work days can be spent at home and you will not be required to go to the head office regularly.
