We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses to join our Critical Care departments in various roles, in a full-time, part-time or casual capacity. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Critical Care Nursing.
As a Registered Nurse (Critical Care), your responsibilities will include:
* Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
* Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
* Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
* Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes
* Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
* Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years’ Registered Nursing in a Critical Care Environment (including ICU, CCU, and HDU)
* Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
* Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
* Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in ICU/CCU (Desirable)
* Advanced Life Support Certificate (or working towards)
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Working with Children check
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the 'Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement' (salaries range between $36.13 and $48.32 per hour).
