Job Title: English and Maths SEN GCSE Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Hornchurch Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams Create individualised learning plans to address students' specific learning challenges Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Offer additional support and guidance to help students succeed in their exams Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK education system Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience using assistive technology in teaching Working Conditions: Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in a school or home settings with students Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journey All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
