Anderson Knight is recruiting a skilled Service Quotes & Sales Coordinator to join our client based in Blantyre.
This unique role focuses on preparing precise cost estimates for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated entrance systems. It also involves working closely with customers to understand their requirements and support them throughout the sales journey—from initial inquiry through to order confirmation. You’ll play a key part in driving both profitability and customer satisfaction, using your technical knowledge and service-focused mindset to help grow the business within the UK market.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•\tConduct pre-quote consultations with clients to understand detailed requirements, offering tailored solutions and expert advice.
•\tPrepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for automated door installations, repairs, and maintenance based on site surveys, specifications, and project data.
•\tCollaborate with service engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary information on labour, materials, and equipment.
•\tFollow up on all issued quotes, negotiate terms, and convert proposals into confirmed orders through proactive communication.
•\tMonitor and report on quote-to-order conversion rates and sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
•\tBuild and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business, long-term service agreements, and customer loyalty.
•\tConduct cost analysis, identify potential risks, and suggest cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or compliance.
•\tStay up to date with market trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
•\tMaintain and update estimation tools and databases with historical pricing and project data to support consistency and efficiency.
•\tAct as a key liaison between clients and technical teams to ensure smooth project handovers and high customer satisfaction.
Key Attributes and Skills:
•\tDemonstrated experience in cost estimation, ideally within the automatic door industry or a closely related building services sector.
•\tSolid understanding of UK regulations and industry standards relevant to automated doors, including BS EN 16005.
•\tSkilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, site layouts, and detailed project specifications.
•\tStrong communication and negotiation abilities, with a proactive, client-focused approach to problem-solving.
•\tProficient in using estimation tools, CRM systems, and project tracking software.
•\tCapable of working independently while managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities with precision and accuracy.
•\tBackground in customer service or business development, preferably within the automated door or a similar technical industry.
