Job summary The Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Beverley General Adult Community Mental Health Team. The service covers Beverley and Market Weighton, a generally affluent area with pockets of deprivation. It isdelivered by a multi-disciplinary team comprising a range of professional disciplines including community psychiatric nurses, social workers, care officers, occupational therapists, healthcare support workers, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists integrated, in partnership with the local authority. Main duties of the job The team accepts approximately 17 referrals per month and currently carries a caseload of approximately 208. The post holder will carry no responsibility for inpatients. Together with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team, you will offer medical leadership, assessment and management of patients on the community caseload and contribute to the on call rota for the wider General Adult Service.
