VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a client in Comber to recruit a Finance Administrator to join their team.
As part of a small, dedicated accounts team, and reporting to both the General Manager and Company Accountant, the role involves managing accounts up to the Trial Balance stage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily banking operations, including online banking activities, posting, and reconciliation.
2. Manage the ledger during month-end processes.
3. Prepare VAT returns and assist with digital tax submissions.
4. Perform month-end reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
5. Maintain and update pricelists.
6. Update and manage information on the company website.
7. Handle invoicing and billing tasks.
8. Provide general office support, including covering for the sales administrator during absences.
About you:
1. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and functions.
2. Strong administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
3. Proficiency in IT, particularly advanced skills in MS Office.
4. Excellent communication abilities, comfortable interacting with staff and suppliers at all levels.
5. Experience with Sage 200 or similar accounting software.
