The Role
As a Clerical Assistant, you will be an integral member of the central administrative team, providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to all academic and non-academic departments.

How you will make an impact
Your responsibilities will include updating and maintaining accurate information on College databases, managing multiple schedules, calendars, and email inboxes, and assisting in the preparation of materials for meetings and events. In addition, you will provide reception cover, acting as the first point of contact and providing a professional, informed, and welcoming atmosphere when dealing with all staff, visitors, pupils, parents, and prospective parents.
What you need to succeed
Ideally educated to Higher level, you must demonstrate proven administrative experience, preferably within an educational or public sector environment, and possess excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work to tight deadlines, you must also be able to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships at all levels. Sound experience in MS Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and databases is essential.
The post holder will be expected to assist at College events as required, which may be out of hours.
