Due to a recent acquisition, we now have an exciting opportunity for a UI Designer (Figma) with a solid understanding of User Experience to help design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences.
As a UI Designer (Figma), you’ll help improve the usability and adoption of our products by developing and delivering exciting new User Experience and User Interface enhancements. You will create design concepts, mock-ups, and prototypes to validate product changes before they are implemented.
On a daily basis, our UI Designer (Figma) will be responsible for:
1. Driving improved utilisation of value-add features for our cloud-based software
2. Creating high fidelity designs and supporting the development team implementation
3. Improving visual formatting and layouts to make the product more desirable to users
4. Creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboarding, and user flows
5. Working with the Business Analyst to convert business requirements into functional designs
6. Using Figma to create and update the design system
The successful UI Designer (Figma) will have experience working for a SaaS business previously and a portfolio to demonstrate.
Requirements include:
1. Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
2. Experience in areas including UI Design and Illustrations
3. Strong understanding of UX principles and proven understanding of responsive design
4. Experience creating low fidelity wireframes
5. An understanding of HTML and CSS would be an advantage
6. Knowledge of current design trends
7. Great communication skills
Here at Talos, we are lucky to have leaders in all fields across our Technical Teams and are keen to continue that trend. This role can be largely remote with the need to do 1 day a fortnight in our London office to participate in Sprints.
