This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, strengthening long-term client relationships, and positioning Standard Life Home Finance as a leader in the later-life lending market. You will also play a key role in enhancing our brand presence through public relations, ensuring our messaging aligns with our values and industry position. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive business growth and expand our customer base. Monitor and analyse performance metrics, providing regular sales forecasts and identifying areas for improvement. Drive brand awareness and enhance our market reputation through PR and industry engagement. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major distribution partners, industry bodies, and media contacts. Act as a spokesperson for Standard Life Home Finance in the later-life lending market, representing the brand at events, conferences, and through media opportunities. Stay ahead of market trends, ensuring a deep understanding of the later-life lending landscape, regulatory changes, and competitor activity. Own recruitment, coaching, and performance management of the sales team to ensure continuous growth and development. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience leading high-performing sales teams, consistently exceeding targets. Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels, both internally and externally. A deep understanding of PR and brand positioning in the later-life lending market. Experience engaging with industry bodies, media, and key stakeholders to enhance brand reputation. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable sales and PR strategies. Excellent negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach.
