Description Join our dynamic team as an Interior Designer on 6 to 9 fixed term basis, contributing your creative prowess to diverse design projects with a primary focus on Retail and Mixed-Use Design. As an integral part of our design team, you'll uphold the highest standards of technical and creative input, managing allocated projects with guidance from an Associate Director and/or Senior Designer. What we are looking for You are proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline, such as Revit and Rhino. Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or Design related discipline. Experience working on Concept, Schematic and/or Detailed stage in Interior Design projects. Creative thinker with quick concept communication skills. Ability to create a concept, from a brief (under direction where required). Ability to think through design problems and outstanding attention to detail. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of materials and their application. Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to communicate with suppliers. Team player with collaborative work ethic. Proactive and conscientious. Source reference material and conduct research. Create drawing packages for Schematic and Detail Stages. Develop basic concept work using various media. Actively seek inspiration from external sources. Project Management: Take responsibility for basic project communication. Liaise with contractors and the design & construction team. Assist in assembling presentations using Adobe InDesign. Team Membership: Act as a team player, seeking feedback and maintaining a positive attitude. Support company-wide initiatives and actively seek feedback. Client Relationships: Respond positively to clients and consultants. Provide support in client presentations and meetings. Budget Control: Recognise the importance of project budgets. Develop knowledge of project financials.
