POSITION: Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Bury. This role will begin in January 2025 so it's a great way to start your new year! This role focuses on developing trend and celebrity license Health & Beauty & license household ranges for the value retail market.
In order to hit the ground running it's important that you have proven experience in developing products for value retailers and are passionate about new product development and trends. You'll be a great communicator who thrives on building relationships across the business globally and with our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand the market, product trends and research, including talking to customers and visiting customer stores
* Assess competitors’ products to identify important features and compare performance with equivalent company products
* Conduct market research, identify and drive new product development and product upgrades against a plan
* Lead on all projects for the discount and license division. Own the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch
* Delegate projects to the product assistant, manage and work with them to ensure they are supporting effectively
* Manage our critical paths and ensure communication is at the front of mind
About You
* Minimum of 2-3 years in product development within value retailers (Essential)
* Expertise in product management/ product development/ brand management
* Experience in cross functional working
* Confident in communicating and developing relationships with internal and external sources
* Strong time management and a proactive work ethic
* High attention to detail and good collaboration, communication, and project management skills
