After whizzing up nut butters at home (using natural ingredients & nothing else) she was onto something tasty. Her friends agreed. Her family agreed, and soon the people of London’s Maltby Street Market agreed. The word - and the nut butter - started spreading. Fast. We leapt onto the shelves of Selfridges. Then Sainsbury’s. Then Wholefoods & Ocado. Then Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-Op, Tesco - you get it. Middle We’re in every UK supermarket, but we’re not done yet (that’s why we need you). We want to keep growing while showing people that tasty food can be good for you & the planet. We’re a B Corp after all. That’s not just a pretty badge. What you’ll be doing Ready to take a leap? You’ll dive paws-first into the Marketing Team, dipping your tail into all parts of the brand & help us smash our 2025 marketing goals. As our Marketing Intern you’ll get involved with all sorts of Marketing tactics. You’ll report into our Senior Brand Manager and work with our other teams (Sales, Product, Operations) to get the job done. A standard day might include organising a pop-up sampling at Whole Foods or a run club, chatting with our Secret Squirrels (customer insights group) then sliding into an influencers DMs on socials to build some buzz. The world’s your peanut Most importantly, you’ll become our customers’ champion by looking after The Kernel (our customer service platform). This is an important gig. No query too small, no request too random—you’ll make sure every customer has a top nut experience. In a nutshell, you’ll be: Customer obsessed. You’ll oversee our customer service inbox, including working with our Webshop Team to make sure our orders are delivering smoothly like our nut butter Delivering snack samples, & lots of them, with a side of Pip & Nut squirrel energy at both industry and public events (check out our values below for more on that) Lead our Brand Ambassadors to show up to Pip & Nut samplings & deliver the goods A VIP to the VIPs, helping manage PR & influencers Insights driven, working with our Secret Squirrels to get our Product team important feedback A tactics tracker. We love to get nerdy on the numbers, you’ll be asked to track & report back on key areas e.g., how many samples we’ve given out, how many times Fearne Cotton’s posted us on her story etc. Keen to get stuck in. You might not have any long-term marketing experience, but you’re ready to roll up your sleeves & give it a go, ready to lend a paw with occasional team admin & support Things we’re looking for (skills & credentials) A multi-tasking master. You’ll be organised & up for juggling different things, with a beady eye for detail Confidence in speaking up. You’ll need to feel comfortable chatting and working with a wide range of people to get the job done Good writing skills. You’re happy writing anything from emails to internal briefs Motivation and proactivity - sometimes you may need to crack on with a piece of work by yourself A foodie fan. Enthusiasm for the world of food (especially brands in the fast-moving consumer goods space, like us) and, of course, Pip & Nut HOLD UP.
