The Role In the role L2 Production Support Executive you will be frequently interacting with business users to resolve any issues. You will provide technology support for various Unix/Windows, client server and web-based applications. In this role you will be working on triaging issues and providing solutions and ensuring the issue is not repeated. For this role you must be flexible to work in shifts, weekend roster as per the plan. Key responsibilities: Acknowledge issues reported by business within defined and agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Proactive monitoring measures to identify any issue in the system and report to the development team for permanent fix. Application monitoring and reporting to business users or internal audit team based on their requirement. Suggest automation of recurring issues and manual tasks resulting in overall service improvement. Drive strategic focus areas like automation and transformation, manual task reduction, improve resiliency of application. Participate in disaster recovery tests/drill as per the schedule. Your Profile Key skills/knowledge/experience: Hands on experience in UNIX and SQL. Knowledge in technologies such as Java, Microsoft, Oracle. Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Autosys, Ab Initio control center. Production support exposure, able to troubleshoot issues and user support with minimum guidance. Debugging and scenario level fix for issues in banking functions domain. Common ITIL lifecycle knowledge, incident/service/change management. Good communication skills and analytical abilities. Good to have: Knowledge in Python. Unix shell scripting. Efficient presentation and documentation skills. Exposure to Service Now. Leadership experience to guide the team.
