Customs process, customs systems, HMRC regimes and full working knowledge of CDS is required. This arrangement will be actioned following a 3 month probation period. 25 days annual leave, plus all UK bank holidays Employee wellbeing programme On site parking Subsidised canteen facility Referral programme Casual dress Company events What you will be doing: Entering Import consignments into the in house TMS to facilitate customs clearance Understanding the information you need to make the inbound clearance, where to obtain it, and complete the entry in accordance with regulations Using a working knowledge of the Transit system through NCTS and be able to raise Transit documentation and complete T1 and T2 documents Contacting customers and other key stake holders such as operators, shippers etc for instruction and information to facilitate clearance Discussing any complex issues or requests to your supervisor / line manager Tackling any areas of non-compliance and solving problems in an effective and timely manner Any other related duties as dictated by your supervisor/manager, from time-to-time What you will bring to the role: A minimum of 1 years customs declarations experience Skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Solid experience and knowledge with customs processes, customs systems (CDS / Destin8), customs regimes, issue and query resolution Knowledge of transit systems and the raising of transit documentation Excellent organisational skills, exceptionally diligent for adhering to rules of compliance and a nose to understand and work out complex problems A team player, capable of building strong internal and external relationships Good oral and written communication skills Europa Worldwide Group do not accept agency CV submissions unless specifically requested/ engaged with the role by the Internal Recruitment Team.
